if f(x)=3x-5 and g(x)=x+3 find (f-g)(x)

 f(x)=3x-5
g(x)=x+3

(f-g)(x)=
3x-5 -(x+3)= 3x - 5 -x -3 = 2x-8

(f-g)(x)=2x - 8
