Who were the main opponents in the Punic Wars?

The Punic War occurred during 264 BC to 146 BC. This war consisted of three sets of war. The main opponents within the Punic Wars were Carthage and Rome. All the three wars that had been fought within the Punic Wars were won by Rome. This resulted in the rise in the Roman Empires.
