or x > -1/2.

How to solve absolute value inequality?

We want to solve the Absolute Value Inequality;

2|x - 3| < 7

Now, this inequality simply means we have 2 possible equations which are; 2(x - 3) < 7 or -2(x - 3) < 7

2(x - 3) < 7

2x - 6 < 7

Add 6 to both sides to get;

2x < 13

x < 13/2

or -2(x - 3) < 7

-2x + 6  < 7

6 - 7  < 2x

x > -1/2
