Jamie has 6qauters and some dimes in his pocket. The total value of the coins is 4.50 How many dime dose he have in his pocket

If he has only two different coins (quarter, and dime) in his pocket he would have 30 dimes in his pocket. A quarter is .25 cents. 0.25 x 6=1.5, 4.5-1.5=3. since 10 dimes is equal to 1, you would have 3 sets of 10 dimes.
