The sum of linear pair of angle is 180 degrees. So the equation for q is,

[tex]\begin{gathered} 7q-46+3q+6=180 \\ 10q=180+40 \\ q=\frac{220}{10} \\ =22 \end{gathered}[/tex]

The angle for DBC is 3q+6.

Substitute the value of q to obtain the measurement of angle.

[tex]\begin{gathered} \angle DBC=3\cdot22+6 \\ =66+6 \\ =72 \end{gathered}[/tex]

So, the value of DBC is 72 degree.
