A model is not always divided into six sections.

However, yours might.

So, it would probably be divided into six sections because you are asked to find an answer in sixths, or because it might make it easier than another fraction amount in a model.

It's not always divided into six sections it could be divided into however many your teacher divides it too or the worksheet
