How do you subtract (5x^3 - 12x^2 + 2x) - (2x^3 - 7x2 + 14)

You would take out the 2x^2 from the 5x^3. same with the ^2 ones. then since you can't take 2x from anything (because exponents don't match anything else) it just stays the same. Along with the 14. Answer is 3x^2 - 19x^2 + 2x + 14

5x³ - 2x³ - 12x² + 7x² + 2x - 14
3x³ - 5x² + 2x - 14
