Syntax is the order of words and phrases in a sentence. 
The descriptions of the setting (time and place) are easier to understand if you have better syntax.

Sintax is the discipline of linguistics that studies the order and relationship of words in a sentence, in the same way, the functions that they must fulfill.

The settings go into the functions that are best understood in the syntax is applied correctly.
