26 lbs of onions cost $52. How many lbs of onions can you get with $8 ?

8/x = 2
8/4 = 2
the answer would be 4 lbs of onions

Onions that can be bought in $52 is given as 26 lbs.

Amount of onions that can be bought in $1 will be 26 ÷52 = 1÷2  =0.5 lbs.

Amount of onions that can be bought in $8 is 0.5x8=4 lbs.

One can get 8 lbs of onions  with $8 .
